I had a great time talking to the Young Americans for Liberty group at the University of Central Florida, and we had a nice mean at Wackadoo’s—an on-campus bar and restaurant–afterward.
I got the Wacky Wrap, which was listed as a “campus favorite.” I thought it was good, but not great: I’m a fan of buffalo chicken sandwiches and the like—this had a corn and black bean salsa that kind of distracted from the overall meal and that made it a bit messier than it otherwise would have been.
One of the students told me about an interesting entrepreneurial endeavor undertaken by Uber as UCF’s football team was winless at the time: first-time riders could get a $0 ride (up to $20 off) until Central Florida won a game by entering the code “KNIGHTSWIN.” It’s a pretty sweet move.
On the whole, Go Golden Knights. They’re 1-0 against my alma mater, having won Alabama’s 2000 homecoming game in Tuscaloosa.
